Don's gonna need a new set of pom pom's and some ice for his arms after all these doubleheaders

Thanks Carol!

I like that Cull is giving Boeser a maintenance day. Not sure he has much left to prove scoring 8 goals in 12 games as a Canuck.

I also saw online somewhere that the plane the Canucks used to fly to China costs nearly $55,000.00 US per in-air Hour. Would definitely be nice to fly in one of those!

Thanks Carol,

It's too bad we can't watch the B team tonight. I want to see more of McEneny. I really doubt he will be kept with the nucks but is probably the only player I would care about losing via waivers.

I like him, but I'd be pretty surprised if he was claimed. Every fanbase gets paranoid about losing fringe/depth NHL'ers at this time of the year and only like 2-4 claims are actually made in the entire league before opening night.

For sure, I doubt he is claimed and doubt he would be kept up because of it but as with everyone his emergence last year was surprising.

I would bet they will send him down early as well but it would be fun to see him in another game.

A rare case. But he made a name for himself with his strong showing in the NHL at first, he even played well in that SJ playoff series when the team got lit up.

McEneny has had zero hype and hasn't really had a stretch like that in the NHL. I think the Canucks are safe. People were paranoid about Pedan being waived last year too.

Yeah, I think he has some upside as a steady/calm bottom pairing NHL dman. Like Ryan Stanton when Torts was here. I'm fine with him being sent down and getting minutes in Utica and having 2 of Biega/Holm/Pedan as the press box squad in the NHL.

Pedan was a legit prospect 3 years ago but hasn't made any progression IMO since we acquired him. Some of that is likely due to his multiple concussions.

Yeah, those concussions (frank)ed up some promising progression. I thought he had an OK first game, but struggled vs Calgary.

Come on, he's not that soft

I think the Chatfield - McEneny pairing might be the best out of that group. Pedan-Brisebois struggled big time in Calgary, that pairing could get lit up if they don't bounceback.

Hopefully JV gets a lot of ice time.

Your boy Subban is being rested along with Brock. Sounds like he's a lock to make the team.

He definitely belongs in the AHL. I wonder if there will be some interesting waiver scraps.

Vegas alone has 2-4 D that might have to be waived. Lindbohm in St. Louis might be on waivers. Although I can't remember how it works with guys on IR like Bouwmeester.

stolen from Patterson, yep.

Subban hurt. Boeser and Demko maintenance day. Dahlen still recovering.
